The documentary film “Recreating Eden” featuring the work of our own Master Gardener , Elise Swerhone as Director will be shown at the Cinematheque Theatre in downtown Winnipeg on February 4, 2023.

“ Recreating Eden” , a sumptuous gardening film of spectacular gardens around the world, is coming your way! Each unique episode of “Recreating Eden” features a gardener who takes us on a tour of his or her unique earthly paradise as well as on an intimate journey into their personal lives. Vivid images of nature and the beautiful narration of this film invites us to witness how the pure beauty of nature can transcend the troubles of our modern world. The infusion of colour in this film is sure to be a tonic that will bring you joy after months of bleak , winter landscapes. The film will be introduced by its Merit Films Producers giving you an insight into how the gardens were chosen and some of the production’s most memorable moments.
