Squash: Love or Hate It? This workshop will introduce you to a diversity of exquisite culinary options.
The two-hour interactive workshop led by Getty Stewart, professional home economist and educator, will show us how to store and cook these complex and beautifully diverse vegetables.
Varieties demonstrated may include Butternut, Delicata, Spaghetti, Kabocha, Acorn and Buttercup. We will have the opportunity to taste the cooked squash during the demo. Perhaps you’ll discover a new favourite or start a life-long adventure in growing these wonderful vegetables which have been in cultivation for more than 4,000 years.
